LOCAL HOTELS

We do not have a room block at any hotels but here are some suggestions:

1) Saturday & Sunday activities will be at Academy Ballroom, 800 Miami Circle, Atlanta 30324. Area is considered Buckhead. Therefore when making a search for hotels be sure to put in search Buckhead. It is a very nice area with lots of hotels, restaurants, cafes and shopping area. For any further questions feel free to email me at info@jobybrava.com

2) Priority Club is a great way to find a hotel with great deals.

3) Also Kayak, Bing and Hotwire are great websites to find good prices.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

There is access to local transportation that is easy to use:

1) MARTA – is accessible public transportation through train at a very inexpensive price. Both locations have near by stops in walking distance. www.itsmarta.com

2) Taxis are also easy to find and inexpensive in Atlanta. www.atlantacheckercab.com

DIRECTIONS

Driving I-75/85 into Atlanta:

Take Exit #249D (North Avenue). At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto North Avenue. Pass Techwood Drive (the first light) and continue on North Avenue to Cherry Street, make a right. Make a left onto Ferst Drive. Go down Ferst Drive and the Student Center will be on the right.

Driving north on I-75/85 into Atlanta:

Take Exit #249D (Spring Street, West Peachtree Street). At the top of the exit ramp, go through the first intersection (Spring Street). At the next intersection (West Peachtree), turn left. Continue on West Peachtree for approximately one block and turn left onto North Avenue. Pass the interstate and Techwood Drive. Continue on North Avenue approximately two blocks to Cherry Street. Turn right onto Cherry Street. Go to the stop sign and turn left onto Ferst Drive. Go down Ferst Drive and the Student Center will be on the right.

Parking is free in parking lot right next to student center and in parking structure
